Mango Sago

If you’ve never had mango sago before, you’re in for a treat! This delicious dessert is made from only 4 ingredients! Juicy, ripe mangoes, coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, and small tapioca pearls make up this amazing pudding like dessert.

To start, bring a medium pot of water to a boil. Add the small tapioca pearls to the boiling water. Stir and cover, while bringing the heat to a simmer. Cook for 20 minutes until the tapioca pearls are translucent.

Once the tapioca is cooked through, drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.

Cut and peel the ripe mangoes. Set aside 1 mango for the topping. Add them to a blender.

Add the coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk to the blender.

Blend this until smooth and transfer to a large bowl with a sealable lid.

Chill the mango mixture in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Once the mixture is cold, add the tapioca pearls. Mix well and layer with coconut milk and fresh chopped mangoes!

  2. Once the tapioca pearls are cooked through, drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.

  3. Cut and peel 4 ripe mangoes. Set aside one mango for the toppings. Add the rest to a blender.

  4. Add the coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk. 

  5. Blend until smooth. Pour the mango mixture to a large bowl with a sealable lid and chill for at least 1 hour.

  6. Once mango mixture has been chilled, add the tapioca pearls and mix well. 

  7. Layer the mango mixture with coconut milk and top with fresh mangoes. Enjoy!
